I received my PhD in literary studies and published award-winning research before experiencing a series of mystical or revelatory events and subsequent spiritual and nervous system transformation. I now teach and write personal essays, fiction, and scholarship from a perspective of seeing color in a world that mostly acknowledges greyscale and considers color to be myth.
